The Situation in Yemen
A decade of devastation
A decade of war has hollowed out Yemen's economy and infrastructure, leaving the majority of the population dependent on humanitarian aid to survive.
Public sector salaries have gone unpaid for years in many districts, fuel and clean water are scarce, and millions of children face severe malnutrition. Displacement has become a way of life, with families repeatedly uprooted by frontline shifts and the collapse of local services.
