Why Sustainable Agriculture
Emergency food aid meets immediate needs. Freedom Farms adds a longer-term approach by investing in local food production and the practical inputs agriculture requires.
Supporters may give with the intention of sadaqah jariyah, or continuing charity. The farms are designed to keep producing community benefit as trees and livestock are cared for, without promising a specific harvest timeline or income level.
